How to play Flailstorm
Flailstorm is an arena survival game about momentum. You fly a small pod that tows a spiked ball on a chain, and the ball only smashes enemies once you have swung it fast enough to glow. Waves keep coming, and every few waves you get something bigger to deal with.
Controls
- Fly: Move the mouse or drag on your phone to steer the pod. Arrow keys and WASD also work.
- Swing: Build up speed until the ball glows. A slow ball bounces off without doing damage.
- Upgrade: Every two waves, pick one of three upgrades. Press 1, 2 or 3, or click or tap a card.
Tips
- Keep moving in wide circles. The ball is most dangerous when the pod never stops.
- Hit enemies in quick succession to keep your combo multiplier climbing.
- Every fifth wave is a boss, so try to reach it with your hearts intact.
- Lead enemies into a line, then sweep through all of them with one swing.
